Koktebel is an urban resort settlement which is located within 20 km to the south –west of Feodosiya, on the shore of Koktebel Bay at the foot of volcano massif Kara-Dag. Hills with grape yards hide Koktebel from the north and the east. On the north – east of Koktebel there is a popular paragliding spot – Klement’ev’s Mountain (Uzun - Syrt) which is universally known as a motherland of Soviet gliding and paragliding. On the west of Koktebel there is Mountain Kara-Dag, an extinct volcano and natural reserve. Sudak is located in the middle of south – east coast of Crimean seashore, distance from Feodosiya to Alushta is 47 km (north-east from Sudak), distance to Feodosiya is 42 km (north-west from Sudak). An urban resort settlement Koreyiz is located in the centre of South Crimea. It was mentioned in VIII century AD for the first time. Miskhor is a resort settlement founded in middle ages. Its name stands for Village in the Middle. Like Crimea is called a jewel of East Europe, Miskhor can be named a gem of Crimea. Yalta is a universally recognized resort of South Crimea and is an international sea port of South Crimea and Ukraine. During Tsar’s time it was a favourite place for Russian nobility who went to Yalta after the Romanov’s family who had founded here royal summer houses in Oreanda and Livadia.
