Hydrostatic influence of water on a human body under special temperature  is a fundamental characteristic of swimming allowing applying it for treatment of various diseases.  Physical exercises in water normalize operation of cardio-vascular system creating impression of stability which produces psychotherapeutic influence on the organism.
